Concept to conference in under five months
Jenna is an experienced events professional well-versed in what great conference planning takes. Recently, she was contracted on short notice to plan and execute the Midwest Osteopathic Medicine Association conference in Indianapolis. “I’ve planned over a dozen professional association conferences,” Jenna wrote, “and I knew it was going to be a sprint all the way.” To meet aggressive deadlines, she knew she needed to shift herproject management strategy and augment her team.
The venue—the Marriott Indy Downtown—had already been locked in, but Jenna recalls a long to-do list. “I still had to book most of the speakers, create and execute a promotional strategy that appealed to industry professionals, and line up all the on-site details for the event’s three days, including catering, wayfinding signage, and in-town travel.” With just over four months till conference kickoff, Jenna learned about Visioneer.
Visioneer’s platform enabled Jenna to put preparation on parallel tracks. Jenna could also tap Visioneer’s experts to shape the marketing strategy as well as design the campaign for the event. “I needed more hands on deck,” Jenna says, “and Visioneer let me augment my own planning team with additional hands to lock down hospitality details and coordination.”
Thanks to the additional help Jenna recruited through Visioneer, the conference details came together smoothly. The conference had the highest attendance ever and the chapter has already contracted with Jenna’s team for its next event.

Product Launch Reimagined
By day, Marc is a high school coach and avid runner--but he’s also got an entrepreneurial streak. While running a Ragnar relay in Wisconsin last summer, he and his teammates were inspired to create a new product for nighttime running: a vest that would combine both active and passive light to increase visibility and protect the wearer. “ I was really excited about the product idea , but I realized I was totally out of my league. I don’t have business experience, and I didn’t really know what I was doing.”
Marc also didn’t have substantial savings to risk on his idea’s viability. “I needed to know if my invention stood a chance of succeeding, and I didn’t have a lot of money to invest. I was overwhelmed, and the project languished.” Then, a friend in project management tipped him off to Visioneer.
With Visioneer, Marc found experts in product design and marketing research who could help him access reliable market research data, key sales channel considerations, and financial estimates. “Working with the Visioneer team gave me concrete numbers and data,” Marc says, “and I was confident in taking a calculated risk.
“I’m super excited: my prototype is ready now, and I’m working with my Visioneer team on building a brand behind it.”

Software UX + Development Reimagined
A home recipe service team needed to build customer loyalty. Their product team’s idea was to create a mobile app that guided users through menu planning and shopping. Kavita, the team lead, didn’t have unlimited resources to invest in the project. “Nor did we have a lot of time—my boss wanted to roll out the app with a “New You” summer marketing campaign in early May. It was already late January, and we were nervous about making the deadline.”
Kavita is a product marketer and excellent project manager, but she’s not a UX researcher or designer. So, she turned to Visioneer. “With Visioneer, I was able to craft a plan scoped to the budget and timeline available." With access to the platform’s experts, she could build and execute a research plan, ensure she had the right steps accounted for, the right communication in place, and a firm budget estimate for her superiors’ approval.
She could also easily put research and development on a parallel track. With early insights from fast feedback coming in, the design and development teams could iterate prototypes and work out technical details in realization—in nearly real time. “I finally started feeling like I could breathe again,” Kavita says.
With communication flowing back and forth seamlessly, Kavita’s product team had a prototype in hand three weeks after user research was complete. Within another week, they were validating the concept, and four weeks later had the final product through development.
Since the campaign began, the app’s early performance has exceeded expectations, with 15,000 downloads—and increased sales to match.
